Meet Indie South Artist - beca designs

Always artsy and looking for a creative outlet,  Beth Carter started beca designs in 2001, focusing on handmade jewelry.  The next few years were an evolution of style and materials as the company began embracing a greener, more eco-friendly identity.  Never content with common materials, Beth's journey of design innovation lead to the introduction of recycled glass to her beca designs jewelry in 2006.  A line of home decor products soon followed, including functional and decorative art pieces such as platters, trays, bowls, spoon rests, lamps, candles, incense holders, planters and luminaries -- all made from recycled glass bottles.

Partnering with local bars and restaurants, Beth has diverted approximately 14,000 bottles from local landfills over the past 7 years. In her continuing commitment to the environment, most of her jewelry pieces also include recycled/reclaimed sterling silver and/or vintage components. Go Green Gorgeously with beca designs!
